animal survivors of Katrina.

I
painted this as an emotional outburst when rescue efforts
finally began . I could only feel the great joy that they
were finally, Safe, ..even though the waters were still
threatening. I offered it shortly after the catastrophe,
but they weren't even thinking art until a few months ago.
I will add information as they decide how they will use
the image. It is hoped that as the Katrina anniversary
nears, people will remember, the animals of New Orleans,
as well as those in their local shelters.
